What is Knowella? A product tour
The one-tour mental model — apps your team runs, agents that do the busywork, and you approving every action.
The workspace is one place for everything
The tour opens on the Knowella workspace. A left sidebar groups a Quick View (Analytics and My To-Do) with your Solutions — App Builder alongside every operational app you run, like Safety Observations, JOHSC, Health & Safety Management, Food Safety Management, and Bug Management. The main canvas shows whichever app you're in; here it's a Health & Safety Management program with tabs for Facilities, Users, Roles, and Plans. The point the tour makes first is consolidation: instead of juggling separate tools, inboxes, and spreadsheets, every process lives as a structured app behind one login.
Apps are built, not bought
Each of those apps is created in App Builder — Knowella's no-code, drag-and-drop builder — or cloned from the Template Library. That means the platform bends to how your operation actually works rather than forcing your process into someone else's rigid form.
- No-code builder — Compose forms and workflows by dragging components onto a canvas.
- Templates — Clone proven apps for inspections, CAPAs, onboarding, and more.
- Views — Show the same records as a list, board, or timeline for each team.
AI is an add-on you switch on
As the camera moves through the app, the tour highlights the Plans panel — "New plans to try" — where AI capabilities are enabled as add-ons: KnowErgo AI, Camera Alerts, and AI Tokens, billed monthly or yearly. AI in Knowella is modular: a site turns on exactly the intelligence it needs, when it needs it, rather than paying for a black box up front.
Ella orchestrates a crew of specialists
Behind the apps sits Ella, the orchestration layer. You make a request in plain language and Ella delegates it to the specialist agent that owns that kind of work — safety, ergonomics, training, maintenance, freight — has it prepare the result, and brings it back to you in one conversation. You never have to know which agent does what; you just ask.
Nothing happens without your approval
The tour is deliberate about this: agents propose, people approve. An agent will draft a corrective action, suggest an assignment, or prepare a booking — but a human reviews and confirms before anything is written to your systems, and every proposal and approval is logged.
- Propose — The agent does the prep and suggests the next step.
- Approve — A person confirms, edits, or rejects before it commits.
- Audit — The full history is recorded and exportable.
Scoped across sites, rolled up in one view
Finally, the tour shows how the same app spans multiple companies and facilities, with access controlled by role — and how the results of all that work roll up into live Analytics dashboards. It's one system that a frontline worker, a site manager, and an executive each see through their own lens.
Why it's built this way
The design choice under all of this is simple: software should bend to your operation, and AI should assist without taking the wheel. That's why every process is a configurable app rather than a fixed module, and why agents propose instead of act. You get the leverage of automation and the accountability your industry demands — one platform your frontline, your managers, and your auditors can all trust with the same source of truth.
